Field-Proven in Yunlin! Microbes Empower Fig Cultivation—Sweet and Healthy Fruits Ahead

In recent years, fig cultivation has been gaining popularity in Taiwan. However, due to increasingly unpredictable weather and the threat of pests and diseases, farmers must invest significant effort in field management. During this visit, Mr. Lin Dong-Wu, Chairman of DIAMOND QUANTUM, together with the company’s advisory team, made a field visit to Mr. Chang, a fig farmer based in the Linnei area of Yunlin. Recently, fig growers have encountered numerous challenges such as poor root development, inconsistent fruit quality, and frequent pest infestations. These issues not only reduce yields but also make it difficult to ensure stable supply to the market. To address these concerns, the DIAMOND QUANTUM advisory team recommended the use of microbial-based products and conducted on-site trials to verify their effectiveness in fig cultivation.

When using DIAMOND QUANTUM's microbial fertilizers, beneficial microbes help activate the soil, improve aeration and water retention, and promote healthy root development—allowing plants to absorb more nutrients and establish a strong foundation for growth. The farmer in this trial applied two products:NutriGrow P andRootsPro Growth, both of which contain functional microbial strains. NutriGrow P focuses on enhancing phosphorus availability and root growth, while RootsPro Growth is designed to strengthen rhizosphere protection and promote overall plant health. When used together, they deliver a synergistic effect.

From this field visit, it is evident that DIAMOND QUANTUM's microbial products provide significant benefits in fig cultivation. These tools not only help farmers reduce chemical inputs and lower risks but also represent a meaningful step toward sustainable agriculture. Looking forward, we aim to continue encouraging more farmers to adopt such eco-friendly resources, enhancing crop quality and field resilience while fostering a healthier and more competitive agricultural environment.
