DIAMOND QUANTUM Team Visits Japan to Study Fertilizer Applications by Action Corporation and the Current State of Diverse Japanese Agriculture
2025/04/30
The DIAMOND QUANTUM team recently conducted a series of intensive agricultural field studies in Japan, engaging in in-depth exchanges with local rice farmers, tea growers, and agricultural material suppliers, demonstrating a strong commitment to expanding international cooperation.
The first stop was a joint visit with Axxion Corporation, where the team met with Mr. Watanabe, a rice farmer in Chiba Prefecture. His innovative method of raising seedlings in a swimming pool was particularly impressive. He also introduced a new rice variety, Rainbow no Senyō (Rainbow Sparkle), which boasts strong heat resistance and high yield potential. Mr. Watanabe’s emphasis on root development and his willingness to try DIAMOND QUANTUM’s products have laid the foundation for future collaboration.
Next, the team visited tea farmers in Kagoshima, including Mr. Tatsuya Yomihara of Iroha Farm Ariake, an agricultural production corporation, and Mr. Koichi Tori-chigai from AGRI SUPPORT KAGOSHIMA. Iroha Farm is the largest single-variety tea plantation in Japan, covering a total of 165 hectares. All harvested tea is supplied to Ito En, and the farm is actively exploring organic cultivation solutions. Their demand for calcium fertilizers and their habit of applying them in composting processes suggest significant potential for DIAMOND QUANTUM's products.
In Kagoshima, Mr. Shinji Kitahara of JA Kagoshima shared insights into the cultivation conditions and disease issues of crops such as cabbage, strawberries, and rice. His interest in improving product quality and yield, as well as his focus on liquid calcium fertilizers, provided DIAMOND QUANTUM with a clear market entry point.
A meeting with Mr. Shota Hitomi, who oversees nationwide operations for the agricultural machinery company Nokiguou, highlighted potential partnerships in both machinery and fertilizers. Mr. Hitomi shared his agricultural experience and observations of the silica-calcium market, offering valuable market insights. His plans for exporting used agricultural machinery to Europe also opened up new opportunities for DIAMOND QUANTUM’s international reach.
Through this study tour, the DIAMOND QUANTUM team not only gained a deeper understanding of Japanese agriculture and its needs but also established connections with key figures, laying a solid foundation for future collaborations in fertilizers, machinery, and technology. These on-site visits and exchanges underscored DIAMOND QUANTUM’s determination to expand into international markets and promote Taiwan's high-quality agricultural technology and products to a broader audience.
