DIAMOND QUANTUM participates in the “Current Status of R&D and Promotion of Taiwan-Japan Plant Biostimulant Products” Symposium, deepening bilateral agricultural exchange
2025/08/20
To promote academic and industrial collaboration between Taiwan and Japan in the field of plant biostimulants, the Taiwan Biostimulants Society will host the seminar“Current Status of R&D and Promotion of Taiwan–Japan Plant Biostimulant Products” on Friday, September 12, at the CH BIOTECH R&D CO. LTD. Hall.
This seminar is jointly organized by the Taiwan Biostimulants Society, the College of Circular Economy of National Chung Hsing University, and CH BIOTECH R&D CO. LTD., DIAMOND QUANTUM specially invited representatives of the Japan Biostimulants Association to Taiwan to share the latest developments in Japan’s R&D and regulatory promotion.
The seminar will gather numerous experts from both academia and industry. One of the keynote speakers is Dr. Masakazu Ushiro, who currently serves as a consultant to AXXION, DIAMOND QUANTUM’s partner in Japan, and as a representative of the Japan Biostimulants Association. With extensive experience in plant physiology, biostimulants, and human health, Dr. Ushiro will deliver a lecture entitled“Current Status of R&D and Regulatory Promotion of Biostimulants in Japan.” His talk will address the integration of traditional Japanese agriculture with modern biostimulant concepts, Japan’s latest research achievements, and the Biostimulant Labeling Guidelines released by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries in May 2025.
In addition, DIAMOND QUANTUM has also been invited to deliver a special presentation at the seminar. Since joining the Taiwan Biostimulants Society at its founding last year, DIAMOND QUANTUM has actively engaged in academic and industrial collaboration. This year, Dr. Chao-Chen Hsu, R&D Director of DIAMOND QUANTUM, will present on “Case Studies of Nanocalcium-Silicon Materials Inducing Crop Stress Resistance.” His lecture will illustrate how biostimulants improve plant health and growth, supported by evidence-based examples demonstrating the effectiveness of calcium–silicon materials in enhancing crop resilience under stress conditions.
The seminar aims to bring together distinguished scholars and industry leaders from Taiwan and Japan for in-depth exchanges on the applications and development potential of biostimulants in sustainable agriculture. In addition to the keynote speeches, the program will also cover the current situation and challenges of Taiwan’s biostimulant industry, international regulatory trends, and the properties and benefits of various biostimulant products.
This event provides an important platform for understanding the latest bilateral developments between Taiwan and Japan. It is also expected that through mutual collaboration, both sides can jointly promote the growth of biostimulants in the international market, actively address the challenges of climate change, and contribute to the sustainable development of global agriculture.
